  1. The Raiders were a pretty good team when he inherited that role. I wouldn't say he's THE reason they've kept going. He's definitely been a part of it, but that team was really primed for success already.
  2. Yup. The meaningless games we have won have cost us literal franchise-altering players.
  3. I have been checked out most of this season. The first few games were fun but I've pretty much thrown in the towel. I hate to be "that guy", but unless they are winning games next year, I'd much rather use what precious free time I have to do things that make me happy.. My golf game needs work.
  4. There is virtually no justification in hanging onto CMC. He is an obvious trade candidate given his injury issues and his enormous salary. Even with his injury issues I still think we could net a 3rd and 5th for him... possibly a 2nd and 4th if we find the right team that's desperate. Burns is an actual difference maker. Trading him makes very little sense and would dramatically harm one of the only bright spots we have on the team.
  5. Either trade him, or completely rework his deal and move him to slot receiver. A 2nd or 3rd rounder is all he is worth with his pathetic durability.
  6. Trade CMC at all costs. That gets the mid round picks back and frees up the cap space needed to hang on to Moore. That's really all we need to do.
  7. I think the majority of the poor run defense can be blamed on the linebackers. A little bit of it can be blamed on philosophy as well, however. We are selling out on the pass virtually every play. The edge rushers just completely disregard the potential of a running play.
  8. Of course it isn't the QB. This team has drafted two first round offensive linemen in the past 25 years. We are weak up front. Cam covered up how pathetic this o-line really is and has been for quite a while.
  9. I don't believe it's all the QB with us either, but to act like Teddy is anything more than he was here is a bit of a stretch.
  10. It would set this franchise ahead by YEARS if he pans out as a legit left tackle.
  11. I wouldn't be mad about it... and call me stubborn, but I have not given up on Greg Little become a quality LT if he can correct his injury issues... so I think there's still a chance for the O line to be decent next year.
  12. It's hard to predict. If someone like Trey Lance is there, some dumb team will be willing to give up an insane amount to go up and get him.
  13. My favorite thing about the draft is when it happens. The speculation gets to be mind numbing.
  14. I'm not going to say I disagree with him... but he could have been a little bit nicer about it.
  15. Scratch that... https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31289953/alex-smith-reigning-nfl-comeback-player-year-announces-retirement-football
  16. Only on the condition that they move on from Teddy. Always good to have a good vet backup.
  17. I wouldn't be too against Fields. Even if we had no intention of keeping him it would be smart to draft him and then trade him.
