No thanks. I am done with coaches being GMs and SB coaches do not go on to win another with other teams. I want to try a Leftwich over a Payton. One has their carrer ahead of them and the other is fugging Sean Payton. I get the feeling Tepper will make the next obvious mistake of going for a HC has been on the decline before taking a quality try on an up and coming NFL HC.

5 wins. As long as Rhule is the coach I really don't expect more and the changes are negated by the schedule. Still a 5 win team this year.

If Baker can't beat Mr Ghost then I might die of laughter. Let them compete but Sam's issues include looking better when not in a game. If they have to give it to Baker then that is not good.

It already happened around here. Like last year but different for reasons.

3-4 and 4-3 both can work with proper roster management and vision. We lack both. We got a good look at Snow's 4-3 last year and agaisnt the run it looked like we had a 2 man front once the play started. It didn't work and I don't understand why they think it will this year unless they are changing up a LOT of things. Add in they operate a run 1st offense and it all makes so little sense. They want a heavey pass D but set it up so the other team shouldn't and doesn't have to run a pass heavey offense. All 3 of our last 3 QBs need a good run game to have a chance yet the D is built the complete opposite.

The more I think about replacing Riddick by committee apraoch the less I look forward to it. It would be one thing to roll that way because of injuries but to do it willingly with the adjustment issues we showed last year just makes me think we will see a completely telegraphed D for any OC with half a brain to pick apart. Snow's scheme already stretches the front 7 to far IMO. I just can’t imagine how that works for him with lesser talent on a more difficult schedule.

Again, Smitty is cautiously optimistic about Mayfield

Yeah as an employee of the NFL network he is by extension an employee of ownerships. They say fluff and he either fluffs or he can go join the 'sports media' cesspool and leave his cushy job. If they started throwing those kinds of stones that the clickbait crowd lives by then billionaires with egos to match could get motivated in all the wrong ways. It is basically nothing more than Panthers.com for the NFL: information, propaganda & marketing and not journalism. -
I would have juat stopped at they have had similar careers. Neither are optimal choices but that is the difficulty of the NFL. I think the Saints stink up the NFC South along with the Falcons and us. I just don't see them turning around the hole they dug to keep Brees the last couple of years. Then add in Hill and it is fun to watch as a distraction.

Still feels the same to me still. IDK what Corral has but I do the others and a colonscopy sounds easier to get through.

My family has some Browns fans and Baker was a problem. Overhyped by fans, can't finish and has the kind of personality where a big hit gets a laugh. He came into a team that had picked really high for a long time and spent large to get tallent there regardless of wins. Exciting? Not personally. Better than Sam? Yes. His ability would make him a great candidate for a bridge QB but his attitude and personality nullify that. I'm excited to see what Corral has. I'm resigned to having to watch Baker blow up the Browns and then implode when we hit the hard part of the schedule.

Snow's scheme hasn't shown it is built for the NFL. I can't even imagine the personnel that would let it work up front. Maybe a pack of HOFers? I sure don't see it improving this year from last year.

He is a player Rhule deserves to have on his team. If we could trade him then cool. He shouldn't be cut, at least not this year.

Training Camp Interest Post-Mayfield Trade

Meh for the year still. On the flip side my expectations are so low it wouldn't take much to exceed them. But meh is the range for this year. -

Great video. I have to agree with it all really. I also find him as unlikable. Start stocking up on alcohol now, its going to be a long season...again. Us playing the Browns week one just gives him the perfect chance to get his wish and then lose focus again. Le sigh

I have been in this for the long haul for a long time. I don’t need to rationalize it or pump it up, it can do that for itself or not. The owner is an issue and the head coach is an issue. Doing in year 3 what they should have in year one in a bunch of spots does not wipe away the fact we almost traded for Watson, have another reject QB under center again and much of the coaching is improved but still subpar. It stinks but we are in a rough spot as fans. The owner needs a lot more experience and that is if that even matters because sometimes it doesn’t. Either way there will be football on Sundays and life rolls on. Hope and pray or cruse and yell. It won't really matter on the field, that is all just what we each find interesting in this thing.

Well we went with the polar opposite this year with an OC that is trying to resurrect his near-dead career. We will see, I am not expecting just slightly better than what we did with Brady. Brady was badly overpromoted but he is young and has his career ahead of him still. The way Rhule runs his team is pathetic and it sounds like a fair take given how we did after Brady was fired.

Dookie is dookie. Switching up the texture doesn’t change the taste. I would and will be more excited to see what Corral has and where he is at later this year. Until then nothing has changed really.

Panther's fans wanting a winning season are going to get a different type of shock this year...

QB coach in 2020 with Jax and a consultant in Dallas last year...not even a full coach but he got let in the meeting room lol. I don’t get the love outside of desperation. That guy has been going nowhere for years but he will save our season? That is a bad bet. The McAdoo is a good NFL coach is another Sam is basically a rookie type rationale from people who allow so much unnecessary disappointment.

Sam and PJ are not competition, they are bad QBs taking up roster spots. Baker isn't competition he is the guy brought in to save Rhule's job even though the first 2 tries at leftovers proved to not be good enough. The only competition worth watching is how Correl does or if we will be picking another new QB in the next draft.
