Who is the hardest hitter on the Panther defense?

In prior years, it would have likely been Thomas Davis.  But as I mentioned elsewhere, Davis has progressed over time from being a pure 'headhunter' to a much more complete defender.  Not that he isn't still a hard hitter, mind you, but you don't see those bone-jarring, teeth-rattling hits from him as often as you once did.

 

So who owns the title now?  Is it still TD, or someone else?

I think we generally view it as a LB or S because those guys tend to have a full head of steam when they clock someone out in space, whereas a DE or DT is typically just coming off a block or maybe has a couple yards of space to run.

All things being equal, I think The Kraken is the person I'd least like to get hit by.
