More than 10 players fail Combine drug test

Telvin Smith is a guy we worked out (in fact, per Aaron Wilson, the entire NFC South worked him out).

Mettenberger already had a 'frat boy' image anyway, not to mention an injury to overcome.  Now this.  I suspect he's a numbskull.

"Frat boy" and "sexual battery" are essentially synonymous.

Only six names are actually given in the story.

Tim Jernigan, DT, Florida State

Zach Mettenberger, QB, LSU

Anthony Johnson, DT, LSU

Seantrel Henderson, OT, Miami

Telvin Smith, LB Florida State

Christian Jones, LB Florida State

The rest are probably late round / no-names.

I'm sure we'll get scores of Huddle potheads to discuss what an outrage this is that these players will be setback for this, but the fact of it is that regardless of your opinion on weed, you have to be a Tier 1 ignoramus to do weed when your entire life is set out for you like this.

How stupid could you possibly be

Are the tests keeping up with the fad workout suppliments? I ask because when I was in the Army, about half of my company pissed hot due to some kind of lose weight build muscle poo. (Last thing I needed since I was fighting to get to 130)

Positive for drugs, not PEDs.

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
