Who has the highest ceiling?

Out of all the guys that will/might be around at #28 who do you think has the highest ceiling? Personally I think it's Benjamin or Kouandjio. I'm really interested to see what you guys think.

In addition to yours, Marqise Lee.  It wouldn't shock me if he ends up the second best WR in the class behind Watkins.  His game speed is really impressive. It looks like he just glides by guys, so smooth. Want him badly at 28.

I agree.

I got in an argument with Promethian last year at this time saying Lee falling to us (assuming we picked 10-20th) was probably not going to happen, but possible.

He said there was no chance in hell, so imagine if we get him at 28.

Bridgewater, if he falls that far.  It's still amazing to me that he's plummeting because of a pro day.

I'm honestly not sure that it's because of his pro day.  I'm not sure if he was ever as high on scout's radars as he was on the media's.  The media just saw the eye popping stats while the scouts were likely looking at his mechanics and arm strength.  They're trying to decipher what part of his game and how his physical tools translate to the NFL level and I'm not sure they ever saw an elite NFL QB prospect in Bridgewater.  That's not to say he won't become a successful NFL QB, it's just saying that he's not your prototypical NFL 1st round QB.

I prefer highest ceiling w little bust potential! We don't have the ability to gamble right now! Hate to say it, but we need the safe picks. Look at 2008 to 2011 drafts. We are waaaaaayyyyyy behind and have used up enough bad picks for this decade! Got to start getting them right!

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
