Billy Turner will be the next pick

The BPA will be the next pick, and that doesn't have to be Billy Turner. Not only are there arguably three or four OTs that may be graded higher than him, there are WRs that may outrank him on G-man's draft board as well.

Ironic that the BPA early in the draft under Gettleman has just so happened to correspond to an area of need as well, huh?  Ironic indeed...

Need is a factor in determining the BPA.

Sure.  The's why I specifically mentioned OTs and WRs.  I guess I could have thrown in CBs as well, but I don't grade them as high as I do any of the WRs or OTs, that still may be left.

I'm looking at guys like

Kouandjio

Bitonio

Moses

Richardson

Robinson

Matthews

Latimer

Adams

Moncrief

Landry

I am sure I missed some, but you get the picture.  I don't necessarily grade Desir or Jean-Baptiste, for example, as high as some of the others, but G-man may.  I also don't think that just because we drafted Benjamin that this will preclude us from snagging another receiver if we rank them higher than the remaining tackles.

lastly, people seem to be forgetting about James Hurst that may fall as low as the 5th, but should very well be there in the 3rd or 4th.

BPA on G-man's draft board will be the pick.

I know the level of competition may not quite be the same but I like him much better than Moses. Moses looks stiff to me with slow feet. I can just see a 3-4 linebacker from New Orleans blowing by him.

This kid could be a solid left tackle down the line.

There's certainly not an OT left *I'd* take over Turner.  Not Cyrus (medical risk).  Not Moses (Turner is flat out better, no comparison).  Not Richardson (conditioning issues? Also think Turner is flat out bettter).  Not one.  Turner would have been my 4th or 5th choice at OT overall, I might have taken him even over Martin.  There are a couple WRs, however, that I'd "grade" higher than Turner though.  If Lee or Matthews is somehow inexplicably still there or possibly Allen Robinson, they'd be the BPA.

And in that case we'd have to hope for Hurst or Moses to be there in the 3rd cuz we'd NEED to pick an OT by then, heh.  Would definitely be at the Best Player Needed point at OT then.
