Why are some of ya'll surprised and/or freaking out? We were expecting a "blue goose" if he was there...remember when CJ was leg whipped and he went out? Now we won't skip a beat...this is the giants sb formula...great value pick...just imagine a cj, kk, hardy, and ealy 4 man rush!

yeah just imagine instead of having cam air it all that entire game we were able to run with a good o-line?

people seem to forget how our o-line was abused in the run game vs NE

sometimes you do need offense people, just sometimes

You already have the best DEs in the south. That was a retarded pick.

We could have two rookie DEs and have the best DEs in the South.

We are the #1 team in the NFL when it comes to sacking the qb.      We just got a little better at that.

I'm not sure what the Falcons, Saints or Bucs do at DE,  but the Panthers rotate their guys often.

Unless Ealy can play tackle, this isn't a good pick. BPA? The next best player available, arguably maybe even better than him, was our top position of need in Moses.

This isn't a good pick in the 2nd. This is our strongest position, a position in which we arguably top the NFL in.

Sure, one of our two guys should be gone by next year, but what the hell?

So is franchising Hardy a massive mistake now? We could have used that cash to sign a legitimate LT or CB while filling other needs and have Ealy in the second.

it was a mistake when he did it to begin with

we lost:

all our receivers (yes some of them were good)

our PR/KR specialist

our safeties (yes they were good)

our best two CB's (yes captain is a good slot CB)

We could have even signed Nicks, and Collins, too bad we need to make the same fuging mistake twice by franchising a de and drafting his "replacement"/"negotiation piece".
