Gaffney calls out... Richard Sherman

Didn't see another thread so I decided to post this;

NFL Network invited players from different positions to work with the likes of Michael Irvin, Terrelle Davis, Willie McGinnest and others. When Tyler Gaffney was asked in an interview who is the current player he would most like to run over he spoke without hesitation; Richard Sherman. Tyler said Sherman was the best corner in the league, among the best players in the league and he wanted to let him know he was coming for him. Hopefully we'll get a chance to see this play out when the two teams collide this season.

They did play together for 2 seasons so maybe there's tension between the two. That, or he's just trying to get his name out there.

Or perhaps they are friends and Gaffney is razzing his buddy in a good-natured but serious kind of way.

Get his name out there? He was already picked by the panthers. The way to get his name out there is producing on the field.

    • I forgot about Burrow, he is elite when healthy.
    • Solid in free agency, and lets not forget the draft--Most teams expect to get 2 starters/key contributors out of the draft.  3 is a banner year, but more common for bad teams.   Look at this draft: TMac.  Yes please.  Sorely needed since XL is becoming the road kill he often eats. DAY 2 Scourton.  Pay attention.  he is a stud and playing like one.  A second-round edge?  Rare. Princely.  He has flashed a bit, but he is developmental. Bothered by an ankle.   I expect him to step up, if he is going to, by year 3.  That is the year, if you think about it. we saw the emergence of Greg Hardy and Charles Johnson.  I have not seen him on the field much lately (injured?) but I noticed he was a liability vs. the run in the few plays I paid attention.  Too early to tell. DAY 3 Etienne.  As a returner and third RB, a key contributor for a fourth rounder. Ransom.  He has been contributing, and I have little doubt he will push Scott to pasture. Mitchell.  Perhaps Morgan's best pick.  A good blocking, pass catching TE with swag.  In round 5.  I think he is our best TE already. Horn.  They are finding ways to use him.  Yes, he reminds me of Steve Smith a bit during his first half season of his rookie year.  They did not really know what they had at that time.   Cam Jackson: A fifth rounder has not played much, but he was and is developmental.
    • What job did he get done?   He was an albatross around the teams neck and they won despite him
