Nah, my eyes are wide open. It's clear Bell is just a below average stop gap in a rebuilding year until we draft a franchise LT.

 

Gettleman can't do but so much until those laughable Hurney contracts are off the books.

 

great point. this is why Bell even has a job. dont get me wrong, i am holding out hope that the man just needs a change of scenery and will perform adequately on the left side. but adequate wont be enough to keep Gettleman from doing his hog molly thing sooner or later. Bell will have to be amazing, and even then... as the Kraken situation shows, the Gman may still draft your replacement haha. i just dont think Bell has what it takes to be more than adequate. can he be a serviceable stop-gap this year at LT? i have faith that he can. but he'll still be, at best, a back-up in a few years.
