"Do I hope I can play into my 40s? Yes, I do. As long as I'm healthy and playing at a high level, then why not?" Brees, 35, said this week, per The Associated Press. "I certainly don't take it for granted and know that obviously you've got to prove yourself every year."

In today's NFL, Brees has a shot.

Well, perhaps  Johnson, Hardy and Ealy, along with the rest of the crew, will help him to rethink his plans.

God I hope not. I'm sick of him being so damn good, and anyone who says he isn't is a homer. That man deserves respect, he's earned it. coming back from a career threatening injury and putting a team on his back on the way to a super bowl? Sheeeeeeeiiiiiiit. I hate him for it, but I respect it.

That bastard needs to retire and spend more time with his hot wife.

Personally I think he's already declining. His image as a great QB is inflated in my opinion. Maybe it's because we have a history of beating his ass but he's never struck me as that great. He can be shaken and he can be forced into mistakes. He is beatable. Stat padding candyass better be ready eat turf again this year.

Why not ?  Be cause   Johnson, Hardy and Ealy are going to stunt his growth even more , All he will be thinking about at age 40 will be Geritol and Medicare

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
