I never understood the love for Gantt, and I still don't.

 

He did appear to have a legit leak from inside the team. I'll give him that. At least compared to the two morons we have covering the team now.

I have a friend up here who is now a freelance reporter and used to work with Gantt at either the CO or Gaston Gazette. Can't remember which one. He said he's kinda an ass in real life. Was pissed, pissed, pissed that Reed got the AP job over him. Bitter dude who holds a grudge. Surprisingly, that's the tone of a majority of his articles.

Yup. If you ask him I'm sure Darin will tell you several times that PFT is an affiliate of NBC. 

 

Just read his twitter account. Condescending remarks, backhanded compliments, general asshattery, and when a reader calls out his BS he comes back with the weak "well you follow me and it's not the other way around" crap. I don't follow him and usually try to avoid his commentary as much as I can. He's notorious for trying to rile up Panthers fans with crap like this. PFT is a great spot for him though because he and Florio have similar techniques and reporting styles.

Actually, I believe Flaco does throw a better deep ball than Cam. It's has more of an arc that the receiver can adjust to and run under and the CB has a harder time going over the shoulder to knock away. Cam's ball is flatter, harder to adjust to and easier to defend.
