Lloyd just created leverage for himself to get the best possible situation. He saw UNC as the better job, but if you can get a massive raise at Arizona and basically be the Nick Saban of Arizona answering to no one, I mean... yeah, that's a sweet deal. I'd stay put too. I'd rather be the unquestioned king of Arizona basketball than the head coach of UNC basketball. -

See.... I've been quite adamant from the start that I thought Donovan would end up with the job and if he says no, it goes to UNC's tier 2 list that starts with Byington. Edit to add. It's not like they didn't come close to getting Lloyd to jump, he had been talking to the school and had an offer worth 8m+ a season. -
