I agree, which is why I'm still salty that we let him go.

 

Problem is, media and everyone else ignored him while he was killing it for us...  Then he signs with the Steelers and hasn't played a down for them yet, and now he's a name to know.  fug the media.

 

Who wrote the article anyway?  Dameshek?

Man, Mitchell's good... Bears rally wanted him in 3rd round, then Al Davis pulls an Al Davis & takes him I. The 2nd. He wasn't a starter because Raiders liked Tyvon Branch, which isn't a bad choice. Mitchell missed a few too many times when he saw the field with Oakland. He was a bit more disciplined here, which absolutely helped step his game up. Is he on that list cause he deserves it? Yes. Is he on that list cause now he's in Pittsburgh? Yes. Does he straight ball? Yes.....

Hypothetically.. Would you want him back? Yous know my answer....

After he leaves the Panthers and signs with the Cowboys maybe.

 

Cowboys apparently have top 5 players at every position... yet they can't put together a winning season.

Yeah to bad they been sucking for the last 5 years.

Yep. Our DB's looked so good last year because the front line was creating havoc. Nobody wanted or respected Munnerlyn until he was able to prey on the wounded and confused instead of untouched backs and WR's.

Matt Miller disrespecting the panthers again.....this time we are last for our secondary. Why does he hate us so much? All these reporters claiming well fall guess they all think last year was a fluke.

Mitchell was legitimately good last year.  I'd have loved for us to be able to keep him, but not at the price the Steelers offered.

 

Agree. Not sure why everyone thinks he was so overrated. Mitchell set the tone in the defensive backfield. There were a few games last season where WRs were intimidated by him. Huge asset to any secondary.

Just like the knock on our receivers this year about how we have the worst in the league was the same thing they were saying last year about our dbs. They said on paper we had the worst secondary in the league and we finished 6th against the pass.

Funny how the tune changes and they say we are going to lose now because we lost captain and Mitchell.

I think decoud will end up being better for us than mike was.
