Yeah....it's me. I put him on blast after reading his article. He changed my name from Panthro to Pablo...no me gusta

HE SAYS I BLEW THE STORY ON CAM NEWTON. The title of Monday’s column should be called ‘The Maturation of Peter.’ This is just another example of a reporter trying to become an entertainer/icon and make news instead of report on it. This is only a story because you made it into one. While many of the others in his draft class have had brushes with the law or just fizzled out Cam has been nothing short of endearing to the city of Charlotte and its youth. Oh and he has been, statistically, the greatest quarterback to ever play the game when taking into account the first three years.

—Pablo

Pablo, this was an example of a reporter/columnist trying to explain an inside story about our profession and a player who was man enough to talk to a foe instead of just continuing to ignore him.

Foe? I mean, Peter King is no one. Journalists are "watchers". Its not like Peter King matters in the world of sports. He exists on a bubble outside of it that peers in. Why is a guy so arrogant taken seriously? LoL what a nobody trying to act bigger than he is. Hilarious

Peter King will probably never understand that he should have been the one approaching Cam to make amends, not the other way around.

The fact that he reported it as Cam needing to come to him is insulting. Even after Cam acted like the bigger, better, more professional and mature man (he is all those things), King is still a douchebag about it...just more subtly this time.

Basically he made himself out to be a martyr. He just basically read his article on air trying to sound pitiful. After justifying everything he wrote word for word he finally said Cam was a good man. Just like the article. It was gross to hear.

    • It depends on what version of bad we are getting. Can't have the locker room tearing apart over it.
    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
