all this talk of 3 TEs... it may come down to 3 TEs or 6 WRs. if that is the case, which would you guys rather go with? are you more confident in our receivers or in our TEs?

let me ask it more specifically... are you more confident in Brandon Williams or Philly Brown/Tony Clemmons/Tiquan Underwoood/Kealoha Pilares?

My thoughts are that we keep Bersin and King as numbers 4 and 5 on the WR chart behind Benji and the vets. and we keep our 3 stud TEs. but thats just what i would do... i am still waiting for Shula to give me a reason to trust him.

I would go with TE since its gives the offense more versatility in the pass and run game.

Rarely or if ever to you any team use 3 TEs on a passing play. But this is a triple combo that I would love to see in the regular season when it comes to Passing. With those 3 guys line up and Tolbert and Stewart in the Back field and KB out right or left. This could be a dangerous end zone team this year. Hope it works out. But us carrying 3 TEs is going to be tough. We will see in the coming weeks I guess.

You are only allowed 11 players on the field at once. Someone is this package is on the sidelines.

Williams and send Philly to the practice squad. The rest can be cut. Underwood pilaries and so on.

I am hoping Brown can keep consistent production in the return game in practice. That way the coaches will give him a chance to earn the returner spot on the roster. I am hoping we can somehow keep him and Darrin Reaves on the roster. Both of them are promising youth players. But we may have to sacrifice one to have OL insurance

    • It will be really interesting to see how both sides handle this. I'm sure the team would love to get him signed to a 4 year deal based on his output so far and some potential factored in, i.e. something like a 4 year $30 million contract.  But I could see his agent telling him the best path is to take the one year offer, put up a big year next year and then really cash in. The team also has to keep in mind T-Mac's 2nd contract, which likely will happen after the 2027 season assuming he keeps improving as expected.  Even if we could get him on a budget 4 year deal for what he could become, the problem then becomes when he wants to re-negotiate in 2 years during the same summer we will extend T-Mac, and you don't want to spend that much on WRs in one offseason, just see the Bengals this last year. Taking everything into consideration, I'm thinking the 1 year deal and then getting him to sign a 4-5 year deal after hopefully say a 800ish yard season next year might be best for our cap situation and separate his and T-Mac's negotiation periods.
    • And yet jax made it no further than we did, and its very possible the Pats don't either. I think it speaks more to the overall down year for the nfl as far as having great/dominant teams, every team this year has fatal flaws that can be exploited
    • Ehhh I agree the nfc is stronger this year but their really werent any truly dominant teams this year everyone is flawed, I think the narrative for the NFL this year will to try ahd force a Josh Allen SB win
