So what is the big deal.  There are very few guys who don't get beat sometime during  a game including Gross.  You can watch film and see guys missing something all the time.  Considering it was Pittsburgh who blitzed on many plays including that one he held him own most of the time.  I wonder if fans on the Pittsburgh message board are all over their line after they gave up 6 or 7 sacks last night

After looking at it more, Amini has his guy blocked and has him going to the outside, then Bell gets in the way which gives Amini's guy a way around Bell. So really Bell fuged up 2 blocks in 1 play.

It wasn't Bells fault anymore than Amini.  The point of stunting one guy to the inside and the inside man outside is to cause just what happened.  If they had been playing together Bell would have slid off his man and taken Amini's and vice versa.  But they really haven't played that much together in the preseason given Bell is playing a new position and Amini missed most of last year.  They will look at film and discuss what to do the next time.  That is the point of preseason.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
