OK, let's talk about the Lions

I think we will have more success rushing the passer this weekend. As talented as Stafford is, he likes to hold on to the ball to make something happen. I see 5 sacks. Plus, Giants DBs looked silly. They smacked into each other leaving Megatron WIDE open.

Offensively, I expect another balanced (and effective) approach. With Cam back, the read option and fakes mean more. We are not the Giants. Hopefully we can snap them back to reality.

The panthers will need to turn the Lions over.  Stafford was pretty good last night, but he makes some very questionable throws when he has pressure in his face.  I expect the front four to get after him and the Secondary will have some chances.  I would double Johnson every play, and make Tate, Fauria, or Ebron beat us.

I don't anticipate them running the ball on us.  We know what Bush is and have always been able to keep him in check when running, and Bell is a power back that should have trouble finding lanes.

Turn them one dimensional, control the clock, and turn Stafford over.  That should be the recipe for the win this week.

The Lions are still a very undisciplined team. I'm not sure how many penalties they ended up with but I know it was at least 8. Our coaches have to preach over and over that we must avoid getting sucked into a flag-fest. Let the Lions lose their cool and get slapped with 15 yards, but we can't lower ourselves to their level.

They were 5/85 last night I think.
