Run gaps. You could have ten guys in the right gaps and one guy thats out and thats where the ball goes. On defense, its all the little things.

Sounds to me like the guys have gotten an ear full this week on those long runs and missed gap assigments.

I have a feeling Baltimore is going to have a tough time running the ball Sunday.

Harper needs to do a better job in run support. It's exactly what we signed him for and it was his blown gap assignment that let Bell break that 80 yard run.

Dunno, could have been TD's gap. But according to the video there was a huge gap to his right as well. Luke chooses his left gap (but Harper is over there as well). Leaves the middle gap open.

I fully expect to see Kubiak to use a similar formation this weekend.

From what I think I read a few days ago, that was Luke's assigned gap and Harper was a free-roamer whose job it was to diagnose the play and pick which gap needed filling.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
