Ref excuses are played. We got trounced. Again. So bad so that Suggs showered early and is back on the field in street clothes. 12 men on the field is beyond unacceptable. And it happened TWICE. Cannot have that at the pro level. Way too much money involved to have those kind of mistakes.

I will say it again. This is on our DEFENSE. THEY are the unit our FO poured valuable resources in and if we are going to do ANYTHING this year, THAT unit must be the one to lead us.

 

This offense should not be expected to put up more than 14 points on any respectable defense without the help of our defense giving it great field position or scoring it themselves.

 

But not to worry. When the FO once again goes for defense in the first or/and second rounds of the draft, I am sure the Huddle will praise the move and expect the offense to outscore teams.

 

Offense would be fine with a different OC (barring some healthy RB's).

Geez.  Was Hardy the key to the Panthers great defense last year?  Do we really suck this bad just because he's out?  Course, the offense is incapable of making first downs.  Running game is in shambles with all the injuries. Let's hope we get some players/health back before we lose 6 in a row.
