How many more times will Philly Brown muff a punt before he's pulled?

People seriously comparing Philly Brown to Devin Hester with a straight face. This is why I love fan sites.

Had Cason not recovered the ball, we would be 2-3 right now. He did and we're 3-2. If Brown didn't fumble against the Steelers when we finally had some momentum, who knows what could have happened, we could be 4-1 right now.

EVEN IF he was as good as Hester at returns (which LOL), if you lose do things that could have lost us 2 games out of 5 played, you need to have your ass benched at least from return duties. I also like Philly Brown on offense, not on special teams.

Well that maybe true but Brown is no one in the same ball park as Hester. You can get any Vet free agent who doesn't have a problem fielding the ball and get the same results.

Basically what I am saying is why put a rookie in their in the first place if he doesn't have a high ceiling. Hester was a 2nd rd pick who was picked specifically to return punts/kickoffs. Brown may have cost us a game already and he may cost us another one in the future.

Philly hasn't cost us a game.

Honestly the same thing happened twice with the Steelers and Bears. He fumbled against the steelers but they recovered the ball instead of us. We might have comeback against the steelers in the game. Do you think we could have won if the Bears recovered the ball instead of Cason?

The dude made 2 costly mistakes in 2 different games. One definitely hurt us for sure and the other one could have been just as bad. This is a Punt Returner too. You know the guy who touches the ball like 5-6 times a game. It is kinda scary how a PR could have such a big impact on our team.

I'm not against Philly personally or want him to fail like most here. But you're lying to yourselves if you don't get a nervous feeling when he's back there on punt returns.

It's not just the fumbles. He doesn't look confident when make a catch now. He looks like he struggling just to fair catch the ball.
