Problem is we have a bunch of backups that are starting. Bell, Chandler, Amini should be backups. The only way to replace the tackles is via trade. That won't happen. I just hope Cam can survive long enough this season until we can upgrade next offseason.

I thought Bell played pretty well yesterday, especially in 2nd Half.

I was at game at he got banged up during 2nd Half and toughed it out.

Only thing I really remember negative was that bogus call Jared Allen baited the ref into calling.

I think Byron is the best option at LT and that will remain that way until next year.

He may not be perfect or be starting in a perfect world, but I hope he stays healthy bc our depth is non-existent

Unfortunately, we have to roll out a completely inept unit until someone who makes decisions realizes that protecting our franchise QB is more important than a bunch of feel good stories about severely overmatched Rudys who are more suited to be checking bags at the gate.

Barring injury, Bell will be employed for a long time. If we cut him tommorrow, 30 teams would put in a waiver request.

Byron Bell is a big scapegoat but he actually played very well yesterday overall, and has not been our worst lineman this year. Silatolu does NOT look worth the 2nd round pick we used on him

I believe the o line will start gelling now, let's see how they play it out. I am concerned a bit with Cinncinanti, they play a base 4 3, but they go into a 3 4 hybrid on passing downs. They like to move the left DE inside and rush the linebacker on the strong side. So I'm more concerned with Turner and Chandler this week since the 3 4 seems to be causing us problems pass blocking. Maybe a little hurry up action is in order on passing downs.
