You can ball control on no huddle offense, we do that when we go to it

Btw, when you score points it forces opposing teams offense to score points making them one dimensional. You know they're going to pass and not dink & dunk because they have to score

You can't run the no huddle all of the time.

Simple as that.

Sure you can. Simple organization and math.

Quick no huddle takes about 15 to 17 seconds to snap. Need to set up at half speed to make it 30 seconds. Starting from a power set where everyone crowds the line, and then audible to a spread set. Let OL make blocking calls and then play audible if needed.

Not hard at all. All about rhythm and pacing.

Busted - CPantherKing is Chip Kelly.

You are dead on and the no huddle hurry up offense is really gaining momentum in the NFL. More teams seem to be using it more and more each year and as long as they have a QB that can make pre-snap reads it is usually quite effective.

To me, it should be about giving Newton more control. Get in an out of the huddle, go up to the line, assess the defense, make calls and go.

The Chargers, the Colts, and the Packers run offenses that look like they went to practice, studied the defense, and don't act like every play is do or die. It seems as though, when Shula is calling the plays and we are in our base offense, it seems as though we are slow and behave like every throw must go for a touchdown.

In the faster pace, it seems as though it is about getting first downs to put ourselves in scoring positions.

Is it me or does every time we call a pass play, Cam is attempting to make spectacular, pin point accurate throws down 30 yards down the field?

75% of P. Manning throws are about setting something up or getting yards to get a new set of downs. 75% of C. Newton throws are the opposite...not trying to set anything up, just trying to score a TD.

Efficient offenses try to score on every possession, not on every down, and it seems as though when Cam is calling his own plays this point is highlighted far more.

Efficient offenses are great at dissecting the defense and hitting them where they are weak. ie Zones - holes / flood concepts etc

regardless of what offense is run, the tempo needs to be addressed, its like they are out for a lesiurely Sunday afternoon picnic out there.

along with 3rd and 3 and instead of picking up the first down with a smple catch an run, high probability of success to move the chains, the ball gets thrown for 20 + yards and no first down.

Don't know whether that is Newton or Shula but sorry, that's ridiculous and it happens too often, move the chains.
