Week 5 power rankings?

Nice to see 2013's surprise team get back on track in front of the home folk, particularly with regard to the defense, which forced multiple Bears turnovers in Sunday's clutch win. Trying to find someone other than Cam Newton to run the ball effectively is still an issue. It's gotten so bad that fantasy owners are picking up Stephen Davis on the waiver wire .

That was a gutsy win on Sunday. There are a few issues still, but they overcame a lot of it with toughness. And a great quarterback.

Why are the Lions and Chiefs higher than us? It should be common sense, if two teams have the same records, the team that beat the team should be ahead of them in the power rankings

It doesn't work like that. It'd be impossible because if Team A beat Team B, and Team B beat Team C, but Team C beat Team A, then you would have to put A above B and B above C and C above A.

If you put B above C, it would also be above A, but A beat B. You can't put C on the bottom because C beat A.

Im only talking about if team A and team B both have the same record and Team A beat Team B then team A should be ranked higher than team B

    • I’m really having a hard time understanding how this actually went down. -Renfrow expected to make roster as 2nd/3rd string. -Panthers cut Renfrow; Keep Brycen Tremayne, and add UDFA receiver (Dalevon Campbell) to active roster.  -Canales/Morgan say it’s totally up to Hunter whether he wants to come back or not, they would love to have him.    -Renfrow not signed to PS -Panthers trade Adam Thielen -Hunter Renfrow signed to active roster with a raise after an injury to Coker nobody heard about and is likely to start.    Our WR room is now: -Xavier Legette (2024 1st round pick) -Tet McMillan (2025 1st round pick) -Hunter Renfrow (1 year out of the league) -David Moore (Canales’ friend? A guy way past his prime) -Jimmy Horn (Likely a Shi Smith reprint, but has potential 2025 6th round pick, weighs 174 lbs) -Brycen Tremayne (2023 UDFA who was on Washington’s PS for 2 years and caught 1 pass for -2 yards and averaged 300 yards per year at Stanford) -Dalevon Campbell (2025 UDFA had a good preseason but had 1463 yards and 3 TDs over 5 college seasons at 3 different schools). What the hell is going on?
    • Not uncommon for week 1 games. Especially against good defenses. It’s why I prefer my team play these small schools week 1 if they are going to play them. Gives the offense time to get calibrated.
