There is always a chance he would take less to play for a legitimate contender. We should at least talk to him. With Luke and Cams contract coming up, he would have to take an amount that would be a joke. But he may just want a ring more. Never know, don't get your hopes up.

Well in my second season of this years Madden I offloaded Stewart and Williams, traded CJ for a second round pick and picked up Dez Bryant as a free agent on a $50MM contract.

So I don't see why this can't happen as well.

buuuuuuut.... salary cap hell / impossible / never happening.  The cost to resign Cam and then sign Megatron would leave you with $5.14 to spend on the OL.  Then you have to resign Keuchly and all your young D in the next 3 years...

I don't see it happening either.... BUT we have made all of these cuts to get out of cap hell. Signing one person shouldn't put us back into Cap Hell... we made these cuts and non signings to bring in someone like this.

Who knows maybe Megatron takes slightly less to play closer to home.... its not the Falcons but at least its back in the South East. And have a good chance for a ring over the next 3 years.
