Cornerbacks - Wade, Lankster, Victorian, Steeples

Offensive Linemen - Campbell, Miller, Patchan,  Wallace

Gettleman hates olineman , I dont get why we dont try out a tackle?

We tried out four of them and signed one to the practice squad.

I realize facts aren't real important to you here, but they actually do make a difference.

Well here is my concern with DG and what i consider mismanagement of the oL,is the fact that he has clearly fielded an incompetent tandem which consist of no other than Byron Bell and Nate Chandler,,which is a decision soley based upon his (DG) ideology or best thinking that there were in FACT no better alternatives in free agency?or the draft??or UDFAs? at the OT position for not only one but the last two years, btw, this statement is coming from a former senior pro personnel analyst for the New York Giants, who should have above average scouting skills, one could only imagine, right? but i stll say, that aforementioned answer to possessing greater talent than what is accessible, still doesnt validate his claim based upon credentials or titles, alone.so,it boils down to this, your actions truly speak so loudley about who YOU are DG,that i can can barely hear you speak,my rant about the oL,once again, and as far as the secondary is concerned, look on the bright side,he cant possibly srew it up as bad as the oL,right?

We made Anthony Collins an offer during free agency. He decided to sign with Tampa. I don't know how close our offer was to theirs, but we did make an honest attempt to sign at least one decent veteran tackle. It can rightly be noted that Collins isn't having the best season in Tampa, but who knows how it would've turned out if he chose to sign with us.

or the draft??or UDFAs?

You name the top 10 tackles in the league and I'll show you probably 9 or 10 first round picks. The marquee guys were off the board by the time we picked at number 28. And Gettleman was pretty clear that he thought the other tackles weren't better than what we had. He may have been right. Of the guys who would've been available, Bitonio is playing guard instead of tackle, Kouandjio hasn't played a down all season (Buffalo is going to try him out at guard), and here's a fine display of Morgan Moses' awesomeness:

Undrafted free agents? That's a place you were hoping to find a guy who could replace Jordan Gross? Talk about a needle in a haystack. You need to understand how difficult it is for an undrafted guy to even make the team, much less start and perform at a high level during his first year.

Byron Bell is one HUGE, slow, sloth of a needle.

Can we just sticky this post and shut up the "Gettleman hates O-line" crew already? Then Igor and the crew can move on to questioning why Gettleman didn't sign Clemons at safety for $50m.
