Ron Rivera and the Panthers wasted a brilliant performance by Cam Newton, who finished the afternoon with 284 passing yards and 17 carries for 107 yards. He had three total touchdowns. On the sideline, we kept seeing shots of Newton getting a (clearly) injured thumb worked on, yet he continued to take the openings on read option plays and bull through a physical Bengals defense. Carolina needs more than Luke Kuechly on the other side of the ball.

Very accurate. Ron Rivera is a great coach Monday-Saturday that is completely worthless on Sundays. Riverboats at random, throws red flags at random, uses/does not uses timeouts at random. He still has no clue what he's doing during the game. Good at motivating the guys, good at gameplanning, has less situational awareness than your average Madden player.

      I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
