Godfrey is the Adam Sandler of the NFL. He somehow convinces people to pay him for garbage.

Can't remember when, but that one 3rd and 5ish play where Rodgers found Cobb out to the sideline where Godfrey backpedaled like 10-12 yds right before the snap giving him all that space, I almost lost it.

Godfrey plays like he has an anchor around his waist. No lateral quickness and can't tackle, recipe for disaster. 

 

I think its a combination of poor instincts and not being able to stay with a WR off their break.  Same problems that hounded him at safety.  No idea how or why he is still on this team.

If you look at his stats, you'd figure Cason was having a probowl year.  Though Cason hadn't been all that bad this year.  He just doesn't have any speed to him, and that is why we have our corners playing so far off the receivers.

You can watch the QBs pick on Godfrey in every game we lost.  It is an embarrassment.  Every one talks about missing Hardy, but I think Godfery is issue numero uno with the Panther's D.  Anybody would be an improvement.  Let's hope Norman and Benewickere (spelling?) are good to go for the Seahawks.

 Tell me, which drive did he play well on? 1st? 2nd? 3rd? Explain to me how he played so well when we gave up 28 points in the 1st half.
