He came in at the very end for like 5 plays or so. He made one tackle but the play was called back for holding. I think we need to let him get some time at SS, as roman is sucking.

not like harper... he runs like its a rock in his shoe. all hi momentum stops when he cuts. then he just extends one hand like his favorite wrestler is headed to the ring... smh

roman has 3 intos just picture how much boston would have , bostons way better, I thought harper was gunna play agressive like mitchell did but I was wrong

But we also need to get away from the 2013 blueprint and realize all it does is get us beat. We need to gamble and blitz. Try to help the secondary out. Yes, blitzing puts more on their shoulders but if we get their it gives them a chance to make plays. The 2013 model just leaves them hanging anyway to get torched

I can't agree more with this.

 

The line isn't a strength this year. We're not going to generate consistent pressure with a standard rush. We're already getting waxed by double digits and allowing NBA style points per game. Mix it up and blitz a lot more, throw out some of the younger guys and try to inject some speed. What's the worst that can happen? We allow 35+ and lose by 20?

I agree! The pass rush is nowhere like it was last season so we need to adjust. I am very disappointed in our safety play. Harper is just too slow. I wouldn't mind those positions to be shaken up. I am not sure how good Tre Boston is but at this point, I'm ready to see a change back there. Also with Godfrey, he is just not suited as a cornerback. He doesn't have that quickness that is needed. Honestly, put him back at safety or something. Anyway, what do I know.
