It may have been their best performance of the season.

 

After all is said and done, if the defense can continue to play at this level, the Panthers will make the playoffs.

We faced a team that didn't stress out D. Didn't expolit our pass D. Run D has pretty much been there outside of self inflicted bonehead plays.

Sea throws the ball less than any team in the NFL.

Defense looked good. I hope that the two big mistakes RW made were due to defensive pressure and not just the Panthers dodging a bullet.

 

New Orleans doesn't have the defense that Seattle does so we will score more than 6.

it's not too late for this thing to be turned around.  rivera has shown that he can finish strong.  the biggest complaint was the slow starts and it is possible that our 2 early wins may make all the difference in seeing the post-season this year.  i'm not worried at this point because this part of the schedule is brutal (we knew that before the seaon started) and have yet to get into the divisional games.  

 

there really isn't any point in giving up hope until the last week of the regular season.  i think this year will be decided in the final week.  i like having late division games scheduled and believe this is something the nfl actually got right.

Seattle's offense looked rather lethargic vs the rams and then the rams gave up 34 points vs the Chiefs yesterday.

Defense played great, we finally wrapped up and stopped going for the big play.  Seattle was forced to drive through us and we bent but didn't break most of the game, it was what we expected all last year.  Also, there was push by the DT's and pressure from the ends.  Aside from the defenses positives, Stewart ran like the Stewart of old, and not an Old Stewart.  It was really refreshing to see.  If we run like that next week, then KB and Olsen will kill the saints DB's.  I really like our chances Thursday, just gotta get it in the endzone and not settle for field goals.

Loved the addition to the lineup of Short and Norman yesterday. Ealy also played really well. Hopefully Benwikere is back soon to take over the Nickel spot and I think we'll see a vast improvement.
