And yea, Lofton had his hands on the ball at one point, but it was never secured. It was knocked out, before he stood up, before he had possession. There was still fighting for it when he had it, no clear possession. The first person with clear possession was Cam.

Negative. Lofton had the ball on the ground. You can see him with it when he comes flying in. He stands up with it and then has it stripped out. There wasn't a single Panther touching it when he stood up.

NFL Network wouldn't show that part, but I rewinded it and watched it about 10 times during the review. It was Saints ball. Not even close.

cue the haters/

Hey i know there were some bad throws there by cam and many drops by receivers and no olsen again and crappy shula and ron and blah...blah..blah

but we recovered that fumble.... shoulda been  0-0

saints 3rd TD i believe every fan on the planet could see that there were HUGE holds on almost every play.... shoulda been 7-7

regardless of the jackwagon call to not give williams the TD... KB was interfered with big time on that second down and again on the high pass by CAM...    shoulda been 14-14

so there it is.... this one is on the REFS!!!!!!

Refs did suck, and IMO were 1 sided, but they didn't cost the game.  Williams was down, and the saints did recover that fumble (miraculously as we had 3 lineman derp like a toddler eating feces), the hold on the 3rd TD drive was mind numbingly obvious.  Outside the numbers and jersey going everywhere, if it had been us, it would have been definite.  The Cason interference was no worse than some of the non calls I saw against the panthers.  Also, Brees had 3-4 intentional groundings that somehow didn't get called, he's done it for years and somehow gets away with it.  Like I said though, that was NOT the reason we lost.  The panthers went full retard at receiver dropping 5 passes, and have absolutely no passing game between a 1-3 yard pass and a 40 yard bomb.  If we don't start funning crossing routes and get Olsen cranked up, I'm gonna lose my mother fuging mind.  Defense did alright, but this isn't the 2013 defense, they can't stay on the field for the entire game and still make plays.

    • Such a dumb pick and most of us knew it Ladd would’ve been the perfect match with Bryce But instead they draft XL to fill the void at the X spot because we had a 34 year old Adam Thielen. Then a year later we draft a real X WR and move XL inside where he has absolutely no business being for a list of reasons
    • My logic was hopefully a new HC would have a LOT quicker hook for Bryce. But, that is assuming they would even be allowed. I guess that's a call to the owner's box for permission.
    • I’m not overly defending the pick. I was team Stroud by a country mile but I also knew what to expect as far as ceiling goes with Bryce  I had concerns with Bryce’s arm strength and size. Neither seem to overly be an issue. He’s proven to throw with enough anticipation that he makes up for a lack of velocity. I was worried about the way he played in college not translating to the league. Spending 8 seconds behind LOS. I did also think it would take Young a few years for him to reach his full potential. I also think he’s too smart and accurate to flat out bust which all of seems to be pretty accurate Bryce is someone you can absolutely win with. No one thought he’d be the type to carry a well below average supporting cast to a Super Bowl. He’s fully capable of giving you those 4-5 special plays a game that help your team win. And then you have those rare times where he’s the reason you win like in Atlanta.  All good teams have more than just a QB.  Even the teams that are winning this year all have a lot more than what we have. Supporting cast/defense… more than what we have  As far as Morgan goes I 100% agree. Fwiw he was legit team Bryce during the draft process. I know that for a fact. Last years draft is a complete write off. This past draft still up for debate. TMac and Scourton look solid. I can’t remember the last time I saw Princely win a rep and I’m being honest. Ransom has a little value. I think ETN is a nice insurance add. Evans could be a TE2.    I think this offseason Morgan will get aggressive with trying to land a pass rusher. Whether that’s a trade for Crosby, signing Hendrickson, it’s going to be top priority. We need a ILB. I really like Kaden Ellis. Sonny Styles should be in our draft range. We also need a tight end and it would be interesting to see this offseason with Kenyon Sadiq
