Greg Cosell talks Cam and the Saints game

This is from Friday but I searched and didn't see it posted. Mostly breaks down Cam and talks about a couple of the individual plays from the game. Some of you may not like what he has to say but it's worth a listen for those that want to.

i think this is more reactionary to one terrible game that is overshadowing what he has done in the past. games like thursday are not the norm. Not at all.

a couple games ago people were glowing about how Cam is finally learning the little nuances of the game. i.e. checking off safety's, moving up in the pocket to throw.

i think cosell is right on the money when he says it's possible the oline is fuging with Cam's head. Seattle game was the start of his worries imo.

three crappy games.... in a row.

No, Cam hasn't had 3 crappy games in a row. The Panthers in General have had 3 crappy games. Cam had 1 bad game. Thanks for coming out sport. Perhaps you should actually watch the games prior to posting and making yourself look foolish.

Our offense in general is putrid. When things are the way they currently are, pretty much no one is going to look great.

It also doesn't help that our coaches seem to be far too inept at developing a well rounded gameplan, let alone outcoaching anyone else.

Peyton Manning just had a crappy game, does this mean that the Broncos need to think about a new franchise QB as well? Or do these comments only apply to black QBs?

Manning still completed 59% of his passes and had an 81qb rating in his crappy game. Oh ya he threw for over 400 yards as well. I would love for those to be Cam's crappy games.

Hate to break it to ya sport, but he has had 3 bad games in a row.

    • Another source: NFL Rumors: Hakeem Butler to Visit Panthers After UFL Success, Wade Phillips' Praise ZACH BACHAR JUNE 10, 2024 The Carolina Panthers are expected to conduct a workout with UFL wide receiver Hakeem Butler, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Butler recorded a league-leading 652 receiving yards as a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks. He was previously a fourth-round draft pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. After the Battlehawks were defeated by the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL Conference title game, Brahmas head coach and longtime NFL coach Wade Phillips told the receiver that "I'm going to tell everybody in the NFL that I talk to that you need to be playing," via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. Despite the loss by St. Louis, Butler still hauled in six receptions for a team-high 59 receiving yards. The 28-year-old was named the 2024 UFL Offensive Player of the Year, as he was one of only two wideouts to have multiple games with at least 100 receiving yards. While the Panthers added Diontae Johnson and first-round rookie Xavier Legette to their wide receiver room in the offseason, they could still use some depth in the form of Butler. Carolina isn't opposed to picking up former UFL players, as Rapoport revealed on Thursday that the team is also "expected" to sign All-UFL receiver Daewood Davis. Although Butler was selected by the Cardinals in the 2019 draft, he did not play as a rookie due to a hand injury and only appeared in two regular-season games as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020. He did not record a catch. Butler signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2023 offseason, although he ultimately didn't make the team's regular-season roster. At 6'5", he has the frame to potentially make an impact in training camp and earn a shot at making Carolina's 53-man roster. If his workout goes well with the Panthers, Butler could give himself another chance to possibly return to the NFL.
    • They have all the rookies. The DC game has Ron though. With the new QB. It is weird.  pantherclaw, Bryce sort of is what he is, and in Madden he makes throws the real Bryce can’t make. Here and there. He ain’t ain’t a top QB in Madden though, lots of picks. aone of them lol was the throw that scares the hell out of me when he throws it, out to the boundary... quack quack.
