what's so discouraging about this panthers team is that they'll give you hope.  they'll play a good half, they'll move the ball a little bit, maybe come up with some turnovers on defense, that kind of thing.

inevitably they either can't put it together or just collapse and the next thing you know it's the fourth quarter and we're down 21

Agree completely.  Every week, I can see us winning. This week, I could see our D stepping up, giving philly trouble. G-reg goes 8 catches for 100 yds and a score. DW breaks off a long run. Cam takes over on the ground... or none of that happens and we lose by 40...

I disagree. It is time to stop the bemoaning and wailing as if we are stricken blind. Shrug it off and cheer for the team. Win, lose or draw.

It's not that serious.

It's not that serious, but obviously you are the one taking it seriously.  I pull and cheer for this team every week.  I think I've earned the right to bitch about their atrocious play, good sir.

You have. Doesn't matter in any way. Complain or remain silent, the season will go as it goes. Do as you see fit, but don't be surprised when others get tired of hearing it.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
