So who still believes in the Panthers this season?

With all the doom and gloom around here lately and rightfully so, I wanted to find out who still believes in the Panthers chances of making the playoffs this season.

 

I would like to say that I do. Then again I am a generally very optimistic person and I think we start by beating the Eagles tomorrow.

Lost faith with the saints loss, you can't lose that game and expect to eventually make everything all right.

That was the game where you do that, it's over now.

I stressed for 2 weeks how important that game was and now our season is what it is. A disaster.

I still believe in "any given Sunday" but I don't believe Shula can get more than 17 points out of our offense any Sunday. So unless our defense turns into last years team and we hold our opponents to 14 or less, we don't have a chance. This probably won't happen because Ron Rivera has shown he can't gameplan very well.

TL;DR-Too many issues that need fixing to turn into a playoff team.

Not going to happen, the team is done. Just the way they play; the games aren't even close anymore they're just getting beat. There is too many issues that just can't fixed until the team gets an offseason.

There's a time to be wishful and hopeful, I think that time has come and gone.

There's also a time to be real and face the facts, I also think that this just isn't our year.

I'll just watch the rest of our games and watch as the younger players gain experience for next year..

I would believe in a turnaround if we weren't getting blown out and being statistically one of the worst teams in the league. It's not like last year where we didn't know how to close out games. Season's over.
