With a Panthers W and a Saints L, we'll technically be leading the division again

not sure about 'command' but another game to get our crap together if of course we really want to win the division. every game at this point for us is a win situation.

How would we be ahead they have the heads up on us, and we will have the same record plus a tie? Would that be what gives us the edge?

Ah yes.  Your right I think.  The tie we had doesn't count as anything at this point until after our bye week.  At this point if we beat Philly we still have the same record as the Saints and they will be listed in first place due to their win over us.  However, if we win outs we win the division no matter what.

Both of us can't win out.

We've lost to:

Roethlisberger

Flacco

Rodgers

Wilson

Brees

All top-tier quarterbacks. We can beat Mark Sanchez, I don't care how good Philly has been. And after we play Sanchez and the Eagles, the only other team left we play with a winning record are the Browns of all teams.

Meanwhile, the Saints play AFC North teams the next 3 weeks and I think the AFC North is undefeated against the NFC South this year or at least were until very recently.

It's possible we might need to worry about the Falcons over the Saints.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
