He was asked by the ESPN sideline lady coming out of halftime about Newton struggling.

His response was that he didn't think Newton was struggling.

And no, I don't think he was 'just saying it'. I think he really believed it. Realistically, even the biggest of homers could see Newton was struggling tonight.

I've given up, He just doesn't get it.

This has always been his challenge and he never gets it and that's the reason why he shouldn't be a HC for this team. Our weakness on this team is clear and have been highlighted in 3 prime time games this year with us getting laid into. Our offense sucks, our defense sucks, and it's a shame when we punted the ball right to Darren Sproles I told me roommate he is about to take this back and that's exactly what he did. This team is an embarrassment and this coaching staff and some of these players need to go. It's time to rebuild if we want to have any hope to keep Cam on this team healthy and developing. Because I'm starting to be afraid if Cam will be able to recover from the amount of hits and we stunt his growth.

    • he used to have nothing good to say about them. put him on the payroll...problem solved.
    • I am also intrigued by Mohammad. Could be another story. Seems like he has the talent but seems to have had some issues with coaching schemes/changes,  some attitude and work ethic issues? Hopefully his being home can get him focused. Here is what I read ( all second hand to me ) :    1- He has all the skills but was nonexistent under two different coaching staffs. He butted heads and was benched under Jimbo (for wearing sleeves under his uniform after the coaching staff told him not to 🙄). Then under the new staff, he rarely saw the field – he had just 55 yards last season. When he saw the field, he either made the most impressive play of the game or would get an unsportsmanlike penalty. Just a bizarre case because he has the talent.     2 -Aggie here to provide some insight. As the other poster mentioned, Moose had a weird time at A&M and it didn't help that Jimbo's offense was painful and wide receivers never seemed to excel. His third year was promising but he was also competing with Evan Stewart, Noah Thomas, and Chase Lane who I'm pretty sure were all 5*s. Also Ainais Smith and Devon achane ran majority of the offense. That said, going into his last year with Jimbo, a couple guys like Lane and Achane left, and most Ags thought this would be the year Moose really steps up. Unfortunately as the other poster mentions, he disappeared into misconduct and coaching change.
    • I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.
