So since 2003 we have used out of the first four rounds of the draft 25 picks on offense, and 23 picks on defense. You can see we have invested some picks on offense but A LOT do not work out. Out of 48 picks only 14 are still on the team currently. Of this 14, 8 are on the offensive side of the ball while 6 are on defense. We spent our top pick of that draft (not meaning 1st rounder all the time) 6 times on the offensive side of the ball out of 11 years.

We have a lot of holes on the offense side of the ball, most kf which we can't bank on 7 rounds to fill with starters, and our history has shown we don't always do well with those picks, why is that and where do you think we go after first in FA and draft next year?

I'm still giving DG the benefit of the doubt at this moment.  I think we'll look OL and secondary help first in FA, and in the draft I think we'll see another WR, and OL if the value is there in the first 2 rounds.  Somewhere in rounds 3-7 will pickup a LB, DE, or a RB because it wouldn't be a panthers draft without at least two of these positions getting draft help.

I am too, listening to 610 and even 730, there seems to be a lot of DG hate right now. Obviously this season has not gone the way he or we wanted but his past two drafts have been decent. Sure a miss or two there but he hasn't shown the Hurney style of drafting (look at last few years nobody but Cam is on the team any more from those pretty much)
