Snow Game?

I've not missed a game since 1999 and I cannot remember the last time we played a game in the snow. Anyone remember? I was hoping it would snow in Minny.

I was hoping to answer that. We were on a tear at the end of the year offensively and couldn't stop Bettis. Although I think we were still alive in week 17, but needed a point differential. I believe we could have locked things up if we would have beaten Pittsburgh?

Is that the same game where the Panthers drove down the field, and with less than 30 seconds on the clock the RB dove over the pile on the goal line for the win and fumbled, only for a Steelers player to pick it up and run it for a 99 yard touchdown?

I distinctly remember watching that game.

The steelers were something like 5-9 coming into that game too. I think the panthers actually led at halftime. The snow didn't really even start until the 3rd quarter but it got nasty quickly and that's when our soft ass defense got run over.

I think part of the reason is that we play at least 3 games towards the end of the year against 2 teams in domes and 1 in tampa.

At Green Bay several years back, the forecast was for heavy snow, something like 6 inches during the game. I remember the TV coverage kept showing radar, saying the snow would start any minute for much of the game, but it held off until almost the end of the 4th quarter. Snow game averted, I think that was the one where Steve had the long catch to the 1 to give us the win.

I thought we played the Saints in the final game and were trying to run up the score to get in the playoffs?
