As much noise as ESPN has made over this situation, They have barely made a peep about it today, because with this verdict it shows that Goodell lied about what Ray Rice told him. This should be a BIG STORY!! and Goodell should be removed immediately for the damage he caused to the NFL commissioner's office and control of the league.

Except he was found guilty, whether or not it counts anymore, officially, he was already deemed guility.

As for Ray Rice, this makes Roger look incredibly bad and a liar. The implication was that, Ray's "lie" not the video, was why he was removed. Considering the Ravens already said he told the truth, and a few other things, it always seemed like Roger was just covering for himself on the situation.

no he is not guilty any more than we would be if we chose the same route.

This decision and the comments made about it on overruling Goodell's suspension of Ray Rice, says more about Goodell than Rice's chances of getting on another team.  The arbitrator is pretty much saying Rice was forth coming on the details he shared with Goodell before the release of the second video.  If that's true, nothing on that tape was new to Goodell, and yet he only gave him two games originally.  Hmmmm, this might be the beginning of something interesting if people start asking questions.

NFL is poo whoever controls it. Money first, everything else is irreverent.

In order to sign him, you have to take on the baggage of a lot of female (and male too) anger, protests, accusations, etc.

I don't guarantee much, but with us already having Greg Hardy around and Rae Carruth in our history, I can pretty well guarantee that ain't gonna be us.

Public perception being what it is, it's possible even teams like the Raiders, Cowboys and Bengals take a pass on this one.

Every female will want to kiss him after he score a winning TD in Super Bowl for us.

fug Ray Rice. Its unbelievable how his stupidity has had an impact on us, say what you want about Hardy but at the end of the day we dont even know what actually happened with him an his girlfriend.  All the "put yourself in that situation"  bs is unfair and narrow minded.

I think everyone would be fine had Hardy been suspended from the moment he was found guilty the first time.

It is the worst to have seen him play a game, and then due to media scrutiny see the decision revoked.

It's like your father saying "It's ok I'll forgive you this one time, we all make mistakes."

    • Give me Anthony Hill Jr or give me death
    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
