Charlotte/NC Honda dealer experiences?

I'm looking at buying an Accord hybrid in early-mid 2015 and was wondering if some of you folks had experiences shopping at Charlotte-area Honda dealers you would be willing to share.  I've shopped Honda of Concord and Scott Clark Honda before (didn't purchase though), and SC seems like they're willing to give a better deal over Honda of Concord (plus HoC adds $1200-$1500 worth(less) of extras.)

I'm willing also willing to hear what others have to say about dealers outside of the Charlotte area.  I've heard some good things about Leith Honda in Raleigh but never traveled out that way.

Avoid Metro Honda in Monroe/Indian Trail area at all costs. My wife bought a car there and they took it for a final wash before she was supposed to leave dealership after paperwork was finalized. They brought the car and opened door for her so she can get in with no questions asked, kind of rushed her out which was weird. It was dark so I decided to walk to my wife to wish her safe trip when I noticed that almost entire right side was scratched and dented. The fugers side swiped her car when they took it for final clean and tried to get her out of the dealership on damaged accord. The second she leaves, it's not their problem anymore and she's totally liable.

I asked them what is the process for returning a car and they said I can't. They said they will fix it for free and will make sure it's not on carfax report. I said don't want damaged car and he said I'm poo out of luck. Pretty much told me and my wife to fug off because contract has been signed.

I've used their service dept for years for my acura and wife's van.  Just bought a used vehicle from them too, and so far no complaints, but that is messed up if they tried to push you out the door and hoped you wouldn't see the damage.

That's BS.  IIRC you can return it under law.  Never ask a dealer anything, tell them.  They are the scum of the earth.

That's exactly what they did.  It was a tall, skinny guy in his late 40's early 50's.  If that happened today, I'd call cops right away to get a report.

They've all blown in my experience

They expect the cars to sell themselves

They refuse to negotiate

They drove us away from honda and straight to mazda for the wife's mom-mobile.

This. I did the exact same thing, even got a Mazda back in 99, and no major repairs 16 years later closing in 130,000 miles and negotiated 4 grand off the sticker. Honda, there is no negotiation. My advice is try and find teh car you want NOT at a Honda dealership. I bought an suped up Accord  at the tyota dealership on 74/485 for 13k and turn around and sold in 4 days later for near 18k.

Also agree with the Monroe/Indian trail Honda dealer. Don't go there.

    • Oh please with the wallowing in victimhood I'm going to take my ball and go home routine. You were just in here referring to people as super weird haters because they don't completely agree with your borderline delusional spin on what Bryce Young is and isn't as a fourth year starter. We can hope by some miracle that Bryce Young will actually be able to lead a formidable passing offense this season without being irrational homers and pretending verfiable data and what we have seen with our own two eyes doesn't tell us exactly what he has been to this point which is someone who moves the ball at a historically low rate.
    • I am curious who's behind all of this though. A video and photos from years ago surfacing? Someone has a vendetta and is driving this PR campaign. I'm loving it, but I'd also like to know who said mystery figure is.
    • I say positive things about Bryce when he earns them. Which he has a handful of times. It is all here and on the record but your lobby won’t focus on that or the flat out truth inside of our critical comments.  It is a constant thing with him and his backers - one or two good things and people are trying to extrapolate that to proof we should commit to him, while ignoring or making excuses for the larger portion of his track record.  When he is able to consistently turn in franchise QB extension worthy outings the tone of the posts will reflect that.  I have already said that if he would play like he did in the WC as often as we need him to, I would be okay with keeping him.  See you don’t want to talk about that though because it shows actual fair minded evaluation not stanning.
