yeah, he should've caught it, but the play shouldn't have been called.

It's only a bad coaching decision if it's not executed properly.

It was executed perfectly and the pass was dropped.

That's not on the coaches.

If it was caught you would have been praising Shula for going for the jugular.

Then you know nothing about football.

You take shots when you have single coverage and the defense does not expect it.

It was a good call

I think there is more to it than that. First of all it needs to be early in the game, secondly you need to be ahead in points or way behind, and finally your team has got o have momentum...so yea this time was a good play and I won't argue but Shula abuses the third and short to the point other teams should be expecting it, I know I am.

With the lead...the way we are playing...and single coverage...that was actually a good time to take a shot.

Shula has called a great game so far

 

Won't argue that but it's his trend to do it regardless.  

 

If he didn't have the reputation of constantly doing that then I'd actually give him credit for a good play call.  

 

The fact is this staff only comes out firing with their backs against the wall.  It shouldn't require that.
