Cam's First Facebook Post Since the Accident

It's actually 99.5 times out of 100.

Tolerance as long as it lines up with your views... am I doing it right? Cam is very fortunate however you choose to look at it. Things could have been very very bad. Football is just a game, whether we make the playoffs or not isn't all that important.

My bad...I didn't post that in reference to you. I was just agreeing based on my personal experiences the past few days with some other people.

Was just a a joke statement that his post was wrong. Wasn't a very good one obviously

i'm glad he's ok… it's been a scary couple of days. hopefully this brush with disaster gives him a new perspective and lights a fire under his ass.

that said i can't help but shake my head when people attribute their surviving car crashes to god's protection. more than 3,000 people die in car crashes every day in the u.s…. it seems arrogant to suggest jesus had his hands on your steering wheel but decided to take a smoke break when the other 3,000 careened off a cliff or whatever. oh well, superstitions gonna superstition.

It seems arrogant to suggest your beliefs are more valid than his. Ironic.

Its not arrogant, its just to thank the lord for giving you another day. As you said people die all the time.

You missed his overall point and understanding that we should all be thankful every second we are alive.. for our life could end in the next second. Which is not superstition, but reality, my friend.

sorry for twisting everyone's titties, but i wasn't criticizing cam or dumping on his sentiment, only pointing out the inconsistency of a commonly-held superstition. since when is describing something as "silly" the same as being intolerant? come on. it's telling that no one's trying to defend the idea that god literally decides some people are worth saving from accidents and others aren't, but just generally getting red-faced at anyone's daring to mention it.

oh well, i should've assumed people would drop kick their brains and ragepost responses… that's on me. as stated originally, i'm happy cam's ok and it's cool that he's taking a shitty circumstance to better himself and be inspired to live a fuller life. i love that mofo.
