LB A.J. Klein is questionable. RB DeAngelo Williams is probable.

 

AJ Klein is questionable for Sunday, DeAngelo Williams is probable. That's it, injury wise for Panthers.

 

Rivera feels good about DeAngelo Williams' status for Sunday. He is listed as probable with hand injury. Missed last three games.

 

Rivera still some concern over Williams ability to block with the hand injury.

 

Rivera likes what Panthers did in practice today. Comfortable despite the uncommon week with Christmas in middle.

 

"We've been in playoff mode the last three weeks," Rivera says.

 

Rivera said he wants his players to be physical and doesn't want to take away their aggressiveness.

 

Just because DeAngelo Williams is probable, no reason to jump to conclusion he’ll start or get more carries than Jonathan Stewart.

 

Rivera says Jonathan Stewart will start but doesn't want to divulge further details about RB rotation to keep Falcons guessing.

 

"The last few weeks is indicative of what we need to do. We're going to stick to it," says Rivera on approach to Atlanta.

Ron Rivera said he doesn't want to divulge starting RB. but obviously he will lean heavily on Stewart.

 

"We'll see" on A.J. Klein, Rivera says. Concern because he was limited today.

 

Rivera expresses some concern about LB A.J. Klein. Thought Adarius Glanton did well last week. He may be needed again.

 

Rivera said DeAngelo Williams will have to show him he can block, carry the ball and catch the ball before he lets him on the field.

 

It’s understandable cause of RR’s coyness, but fans have spent too much time stressing about DeAngelo/Stewart the last few weeks.

 

Rivera says he's pleased to be in this position with everything that has happened to #panthers this season.

 

Adarius Glanton will start at OLB if A.J. Klein can't play against the Falcons.

 

Also, 3rd LB (Klein/Glanton) isn’t a huge issue this week. Of 74 plays vs ATL in Week 11, #Panthers were in base for 20 plays.

 

Ultimately, #Panthers are about as healthy as can be for a game this late in the season, which is pretty remarkable.

It's because we have players back from injury.

 

Most teams are losing players to injury this late in the year .

 

We are in the best shape we have been in all season , and should be good enough to beat Atlanta .

Not really...fans haven't been stressing over DWill/Stewart because we know how should start and get all the carries...fans have been stressing whether or not Ron is going to give DWill any carries despite the great work JStew has done over the past 4 weeks, leading hte NFL in rushing.
