my back field would be this

CB - Richard Marshall, Captain Munnerlyn

CB - Chris Gamble, Charles Godfrey

FS - Quentin Teal, Sherrod Martin

SS - Chris Harris, Dante Wesley

Then I think with a year under his belt at CB, Godfrey would definitely be our number 2 corner next year

Geisinger apparently played LT in college and Macky played RG/RT. I think if Otah went down, Macky could play RT. I think if Gross went down, Wharton would go to LT and Duke at LG. However, if Wharton gets hurt and then Gross, I think Otah would slide in at LT with Duke at LG and Macky at RT. Geisinger would probably be a last resort at LT. Schwartz and Cadogan just haven't shown that they deserve a roster spot.

landon johnson is pissing me off. i had to choose between him and sherrod martin. even though sherrod has yet to show why he is worth that pick i'd rather have him than johnson. johnson's contract is the only reason he will have a roster spot.

that being said, i wouldn't be surprised to see him put on the IR list. it would be a waste of money but i would rather use that spot on the roster with someone who has potential to be good rather than potential to get hurt.

I like it a lot however nothing much has changed since before the first preseason game. I think J Leman has played his way onto the team and CJ Wilson might be the odd man out. As far as the offensive line depth goes I think if Otah ever missed any extensive time then Wharton would take over at left tackle and gross would take Otah's spot and Bernadeau would start at LG. If Gross went down the Wharton would kick out to left tackle and Bernadeau would take over. If Kalil goes down, Bernadeau, and if Vincent goes down it would be Robinson. IF Otah and Gross were to go down then Wharton would play left tackle, Bernadeau would play Left Guard and probably Schwartz or may even Duke Robinson would kick out to tackle. Its nice to have such versatile offensive linemen. It would take a few injuries to really hurt the line, which could definitely happen the way this season is going. I'm really worried about the injury issue with Stewart, I think he might need to take a season off and get healthy although I would hate to ever see that happen.

    • He isn’t but looking at what those guys are getting paid, paying him what he’s making now wouldn’t have been terrible, they should have and still should be looking at pairing some guys with brown to form a pretty dominant d line
    • The Bryce hate is nearly laughable.  He looked like garbage the first two games, but has really, really shown improvement and growth.  People who know football are taking notice.  Will Bryce ever be Arron Rodgers, Farvre, Manning or any other hotshot gunslinger?  No, but I think he is a smart football player who has survived a lot more than most other QB's would have after 2.5 years.  So long as this injury doesn't linger I think you will see legitimate growth over the next two years, with a big leap coming next season. Reich and Brown not working together, Duce causing trouble behind the scenes.  Starting WR's of Mingo and Chark.  No legitimate scheme for the OL.  Fitterer's general incompetence. An owner who was desperate for attention.  How did Zac Wilson, Mariota, Winston, Tribuski, Rosen, Lawarence, Fields, Jones, Pickett, and Richardson fair after 2.5 years?  We see what happens when the Texans have not given Stroud the support. The 2018 draft had great talent, they just needed to mature, hell we wasted two of the top three drafted that year.  Outside of Allen, Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow, or Drake Maye, I'm not sure I really would want any other 1st round QB drafted in the past 10 years? RELAX......  Bryce is our guy as we grow as a team.  The only other option I currently see is maybe a buy low draft pick on Drew Allar if he falls to the third round or lower. Bryce is going to be extended.  He won't get Prescott money which would benefit our team going forward.  A mid range extension like Darnold or Baker got may be just the thing this team needs to keep growing.
    • Even if he had just a two week window of incredible play, it would open up people eyes to what the offense would look like with a different QB than what we've been fielding for the last couple years. No one is saying White should or could be a long term solution, just a different perspective on what the offense could look like, and if it hypothetically did happen it would put major pressure on the situation that they've been half-assing
