Inside The NFL picks Cards/Panthers winner

I hate everyone picking us, and saying there's no reason we should lose.

We're still a team that has at times shown some serious flaws, and Arizona is a GOOD team.  A damn good team, with a damn good coach.  Their only problem is their QB, but that team is as tight and ugly-winning as it gets.

I'm more worried about tomorrow's game than I would be if we were playing the Seahawks.  I just hope the Panthers don't roll out there with the same mindset a lot of fans and the media has.

Arizona was a good team for the first 10 games.

The past 6...not so much. Not only has their offense gone to crap, but their defense has also sprung major leaks over that time.

pretty much the opposite story with us. we started out weak for most of the season then finally people got healthy and things started clicking and we started winning.

what matters more? being hot for the first 10 weeks or the last 6?

one of the things that has bugged me the most about this fanbase and even this team from time to time is this obsession with being the underdog.

newsflash...you can't be great and be an underdog.

play king of the hill. be the big dog that makes it to the top and stake your claim. take it as yours and fend off everyone who wants to take over your hill.

enough of this trying to live under the radar. once you start winning consistently, you are no longer the underdog. you are no longer under the radar.

do you guys want to win consistently or do you want to be perennial underdogs always under the radar? and if you say you want to wait until we have a better team...well, you are always going to be waiting. you know why? likely because you're scared of success and/or afraid of losing success and feel it's better to have never attained it than to have it and lost it.

we have reached a point in the new season where everyone is 0-0. all that matters is what your team is doing now and this team looks as good as any team in the playoffs. sure, some are scary, but so are we. our defense is finally clicking again, the OL is gelling and giving cam protection and opening holes for the run game. the WRs and TEs are gelling with cam (and yes, there are drops, but there are also big plays being made) and cam is looking as good as he ever has.

point is, we have a shot and we look good. when things are clicking, there's no hiding how lethal this team can be on both sides of the ball. sure, we have our issues, but what championship team doesn't?

don't be afraid to feel good about our chances and don't take other people's confidence in our team as a bad omen. people believe what the panthers can do. how is that a bad thing? that means that they are doing the right things. feel good about that. if they can see it, why can't you?

Preach it, brother

    • For the right price… but if they did they would be pulling a Tepper, because they are trying to evaluate Shough and taking his best WR away is making it hard on him.
    • see we are just not going to agree - unless you change your mind lol. Mine isn’t changing without hard evidence that Morgan supported it like a puppy dog.  He was the assistant. If he disagreed and said so, and they didn’t listen, he has to pick his battles. If he continued to oppose he is looking for work. He knows this stuff. I think he knows Bryce is a super long shot just because he faced NFL QBs and probably would have salivated at the thought of Bryce on the other side in his playing days.  Anyway I am going to judge him on what he has done since he’s been the man with the title.  I also would bet a stack that there were conditions placed on him and on Canales re Bryce Young. Can’t prove it. I am not supporting the Brooks pick, and rationalizing the XL pick. And rationalizing the Brooks pick to an extent, on the (assumed by me) mandate that was a condition of the hiring. Which was ‘sell out’ to make Bryce work. This year. Now. (2024) That is what those top two picks were.  IMO. They failed, id judged today.  I think Morgan is doing a great job really, once he got his feet under him and was allowed to do his job.  Fixing this team while accommodating Tepper/Bryce, more than a two year fix.    Anyhow I have beer to drink will check back later.
    • Dolphins pass rushers Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips: The Dolphins have received trade interest for both players, but could have an easier time trading Matthew Judon due to his more affordable contract
