Ron Rivera has more playoff victories than Marvin Lewis

...because Lewis is terrible and hasn't won a single playoff game since he was hired, especially today when the bengals have the most talented team in the league. Even in 2011 when they played a Houston team with a good defense and a third string QB (much like the 2014 Cardinals in the playoffs) they still got their asses kicked.

Also here's a list of QBs that have won a playoff game before Andy Dalton:

Cam Newton

Andrew Luck

Russell Wilson

TJ Yates

Ryan Leaf

Snarf

A Pure Moods CD

Quantum Foam

Time for them to move on from Marvin. He's gotten them as far as he can go. They're probably scared if they let him go, they'll go back to the dark ages aka the Bungals. Dalton should get looked at too, but I wouldn't pull the trigger on him yet.

bengals are loaded with talent… i really think andy dalton is their main deficiency. dude simply can't lead a team down the field when the chips are down.

missing aj green today didn't help either.

i'm not sure marvin lewis really shoulders as much of the blame as OP insinuates

lol New England

I should disregard your list just for that inclusion

The bengals are definitely deeper player by player than half those teams you mentioned

Did you see that offense they trotted out there today? Less talent at wr then we have without green. We actually have more overall talent than they do.

NE shouldn't of been on the list....but the Bengals aren't the most talented. Top 10 when healthy though

    • I don't know. CMC is like others and may have lip serviced that line of " I had no plan or wanted to leave Carolina" I think he even said he bought a house too and wanted this to be home.   Here's what I heard- In a way Panthers org gave him a test and he didn't "fight" back. They approached CMC and told him they wanted to put him on IR since the "season" was over or out of playoff reach. CMC didn't fight it one lick and agreed. They secretly wanted him to kept playing or want to, but there was no kickback. I honestly don't know if its real or not, 5th hand information type deal doing on. Yes he had bruises and pains, but was able to play...... but went along with Panthers staff. Odd to be playing games with star players, but whatever....   Plus the staff doctors found out about his tendinitis and there was nothing to fix it. Even with him missing time, it was the best move to trade him before he got inflamed constantly.    Lastly, its mostly time a combo of stuff, Fitterererere did not sign him to be the highest paid RB. That was classic Marty "give me a" herniay doing. GMs have different values on roster spots and rumor was Fitterererer was one that didn't want to pay RBs. For all his faults, he's right about that......
    • I think google is confusing signing bonus with guaranteed money. If you get a guarantee of say $10 million, it doesn’t matter if the signing bonus is $5 or $8 million, it’s the $10 million number that affects the cap, as the signing bonus is always just a portion of the guaranteed money anyways. And again, I’ll admit I’m not 100% sure about it, but I’m pretty sure it is the case.
