NFL head of officiating partying with Jerry Jones son last night?

I believe in these controversies only to a point.

While that flag was picked up, both teams still had to play the rest of the game.

Similar to the "fixing" of basketball games by officials in the NBA, the players still have to hit and miss their shots.

I don't buy the present "fix was in theory" but to think that bad calls, like that one,do not have a big impact on the outcome of a game would be foolish.

It may mean nothing but lets not say that the referees cant affect a game.  How many TDs get called back for a holding call when we all know that holding could be called on every down.  How many pass interference calls in the endzone get called which puts the ball at the 1 which is almost a sure TD.  I can understand the old if we score all the time then the referees can't lose it but I have seen plenty of games where the referee's call determined the game.

As for Dallas it seems every time we play them there are calls where there wasn't a flag thrown when they interfere with us and then a random call or two which benefits them.  Depending on when it is called, it can have a huge out come on the game.  Anyone remember when Peppers blocked a field goal against Dallas only to be penalized for running into the kicker with the ref stating he didn't touch the ball when it was clear on replay that the ball changed rotation.  That changed the game completely and won if for them after we had them beaten.

I'm still mad about that game. That call and the one ejecting Smitty. It was clear that the refs had an agenda because the Cowboys were on the fringe of a playoff berth.

Everyone know Dallas Pays off the Refs. Ive just never seen it in a playoff game till recently. Last years playoff game was clearly rigged so the 9ers would play the Hawks again. Lucky for us there is no juicy match up with the Hawks again.
