Rex ryan doesnt play dline? Scheme shmeme, he might make them slightly better but the team is still soft like butter, and cam is the hot knife that will cut right thru it. Im not at all concerned, coaches dont win football games in the nfl, the 11 guys on the field truly dictate that. Look at the arizona game for instance.

Look closely at that franchise. Rex has never had a QB contribute. Poor GM after GM. He always brings an excellent game plan and his players love him.

Originally I had a good feeling about this.

 

The more I thought about it the more I don't like it. Rex does good things with defenses and that is what atlanta's biggest issue is.

You guys are overreacting. Yeah Rex might improve their D but he'll also severely hurt their offense. His defense benefits from having a ball-control, run heavy offense and I could totally see him trying to turn ATL into that

Lovie Smith, Rex Ryan, Ron Rivera, it would be a mostly defensive minded division aside from Payton and the Saints. The Saints wont do poo again for a while

Yeah I mean they're an offensive line and a runningback away from being a scary offense, and the defense is going to be rebuilt like the Amish are working on it

That's a pretty nice hire if it happens.  Then again, it's hard not to improve over Mike Smith.
