We gave up, they never did

I sure as hell gave up.  Wanted a high draft pick when we hit rock bottom.

Panthers go on this magic carpet ride and I have exponentially enjoyed each week (with busted blood vessels in the white of my left eye as a reminder).

Not sure if I am at ecstatic level or euphoric level this week but....I could not be happier right now whether we win or lose.

KEEP POUNDING for life.

I watched every game expecting them to lose. Seriously, lose against the Vikings? But I Digress, now I want them to win, to shut people up. I'm tired of all the teams that are mediocre at best, get all the spotlight. IMO I think Brady, Luck, Rodgers, Mannings, and Raplesburger, are all overated QBs

If you think those QB's are overrated, then I sure as hell would love to hear your elite list.

I never gave up.

I never gave up...really...but I became somewhat emotionally noncommittal in regards to making the playoffs after that Packers drubbing.

I must say that I was one of the people who didn't turn on Rivera.  I always said that it was not logical to make him the fall guy and that he deserved at least one more year (if not two).  Now I would give him three.  He's done a pretty remarkable job considering the inexperienced talent and, to be honest, the failings of veteran players to execute and play up to their ability.

This is the third year in a row that players have gone to the edge and come out fighting and swinging to help Rivera keep and/or solidify his position as their leader.  It may be unprecedented. In any event, I'm glad that the Panthers believe in their coach and that the team motto is evidenced in their willingness to never say die.

Watching two blocked punts get returned for touchdowns.....I remember just sitting at the bar laughing to myself in hysterical misery about just how fuging terrible we were.

But I always woke up Tuesday expecting us to win our next game. I'm an eternal optimist when it comes to the Panthers.

I don't know about y'all, but that was a pretty black abyss we were in after the second blocked punt in the Minnesota game.....

low point of the season, probably the lowest of the ron rivera era. the turnaround since then is spectacular.
