Steve Smith attempted to fight Jermaine Wiggins after loss?

To be fair, wiggins responded in an equally immature manner, in front of his wife and kids.

Wiggins only responded  after Steve Smith kept ranting, raving and using foul language, like some kind of head case, over and over and over, in front of his family.

There's only so much full verbage a man can take before responding. To bad security and LaFell intervened before Wiggins could punch him in his foul mouth and knock him own his ass.like he deserved.

Am I the only one that thinks Smitty wouldn't have said anything had the Ravens won the game?  I feel like this was his outlet to be a sore loser. I loved Smitty when he was here, but his antics aren't anything new.  The only difference was when he was here he was "our" punk.  We loved his fight. We took his attitude as "heart." The fact that he is 5'9 and cried in interviews made everything ok.  Deep down he's just an amazingly talented, undersized guy with real deep-rooted anger issues.  Steve Smith the football player is amazing.  Steve Smith the person leaves much to be desired.

I'm biased to Steve Smith. I have so many fonds memories watching him from my childhood, and I still have a signed football that he gave me at training camp. He's at least good to his fans. And if not his fans, at least children.

I also have great memories of Smith and still have his jersey in my closet. He seemed to have put this type of thing behind him after the Lucas incident so to see him back at it is sad and a little disturbing. I'm never going to forget all the great things he helped us do on the football field but that doesn't give him a pass to act the fool off the field either. I wish he'd get it together and stay out of situations like this.

I sent Anthony Bright a Get Well card after Steve sucker-punched him the film room. I was assaulted at work, too, and there's NO excuse for that behavior.

Never gonna convince me he's a nice but misunderstood guy.

On the flip side of the coin, I'll never convince a Steve Smith fan that he's a dick.

I'm sure plenty of people will be there for his jersey retirement and statue unveiling, but not me, Glad that locker room cancer is gone.

I just hope SS#89 is not going to be fatally shot at a gas station, but it seems to be his future.

His shlt is old and so is he.  JSTFU and retire.  Your era is over.   He is a typical Elevation hypocrite and THE worst teammate EVER in the history of the NFL.

Hard to be a thug after you reach 30 years of age but he has done it flawlessly because he always was one.  He is the definition of POS.

Thank God Kelvin didn't have to share a locker room with this asshole.
