Is a staff change out of the realm of possibility now?

Most teams have made their staff firings and hirings. I know Ron stated that he didn't anticipate any staff changes, but the last time he said he didn't anticipate any moves, Charles Godfrey got his walking papers. Is there any reason to hold out hope that maybe, just maybe, we'll have a new ST coach by the start of 2015?

Nope, Riverboat Ron is being Riverboat Ron and going all in with the same exact staff despite next season being playoffs or fired for him. He's got guts, gotta give him that

Nope, Riverboat Ron be damned, he is sticking with the same exact staff despite next season being playoffs or fired for him. He's got guts, gotta give him that

Shula-ball has us in the playoffs 2-years running. Our players are getting comfortable with the system and as much as I dislike the play-calling. It would royally suck to start over with a new OC.

I think people over emphasize learning a new system. Many teams have had success learning a new system their first year. Cam was explosive his first year with Chud. If shula is going to stay it shouldn't be because learning a new system is hard

Gase is still laying in the cut.  Not saying he would certainly come here, but Baltimore just hired Trestman as the OC.  Not too many slots still open.  Did Foxy hire an OC yet?  If not, I could see Gase following Fox to Chicago.  Gase would be quite an improvement over Shula.

    • Sellers is absolutely one to keep an eye on. Could be the next Cam or could be the next Anthony Richardson. Curious to see how he has progressed come this fall.
    • I think Texas could go 0-12 and he would still go #1 based on his name and traits like you say.  But nusselman and sellers may be actually better qbs.    Man if bryce stinks it up this season its looking like a damn good year to swap out qbs.  Sellers highlights are just fuging jaw dropping
    • I mean, the kid comes from a wealthy family. It's not like he needs the money. He has a ton of potential now we get to see what he can do as a starter. Everyone penciling him in as the #1 overall pick is putting the cart way before the horse. It's 5% because of his talent and what he's showing on the field and 95% because his last name is Manning. And if he is what he's hyped to be the Texas coaching staff needs to be answering some tough questions about why the kid wasn't on the field sooner. Ewers was a good college QB but he's definitely not a "keep a future #1 overall pick waiting" type of college QB. Only getting one season out of a top NFL talent because you chose to keep him buried behind a borderline NFL talent is just coaching negligence. Not starting him as a true freshman? Yeah, I get that. But on year two if the kids is what he's hyped to be you gotta wish Ewers well elsewhere and turn the page.
